Default CP 4500 Indoors and low light

I just read some great reviews and I am now considering purchasing the 4500. Does anybody know how this camera performs indoors? I seem to end up taking a lot of indoor pics of my kids and their friends (plus the dogs!)

While I've not taken many indoor shots with my CP4500, I've noticed a reddish cast on any shots that were taken without any natural daylight or flash.

This was despite changing the white balance to incandescent.

Very nice camera otherwise and I'm very happy with mine.
