Hi All,

I'm planning on going to Hong Kong soon (I'm fromCalifornia)and was wondering if any of you have experienced any ill effects of using your E300 (or E500 for that matter) in Hong Kong's climate. I'm just concerned that the humidity might cause moisture to collect inside of the body and short the camera out. Any tips from avid travelers?

I know people who live in Singapore use what's called "dry cabinets" to store the camera when not in use to prevent fungus building up on the lens.

You may want to ask on a site that's more local...check out the ClubSnap Olympus forum (that's located in Singapore) here (one of the recent messages was regarding a dry box):
