I'm not sure whether this has been posted here on Steve's forum but for those interested in the leica D lens for their Oly, these sample shots taken shortly after the Japanese release of the L1+ Leica D 14-50 may help. All shotstaken by Calvados (Japan) over at the Leica form, with various Olympus and Leica camera's that he has. Here's the sample shots (nothing scientific in his testing)- note:he's using an underwater version of the E330 and forgot to make a change on the E330 which effected the IQ.

2. Oly E330 + Leica D 14-50

3. Olympus E1 + Leica 14-50D

4. Leica DMR + Leica 14-50D (with a 4/3 adapter)

Pic. 5 A street shot taken with the Oly E1 + Leica D 14-50 (f3.0, 1/40s, ISO100)

What really interested me is the similar look that the E1 and Leica DMR both show with the lens. Unfortunately he never got around to reshooting the E330 shot.

:O :?

There's also a Leica 25mm f1.4 on the way.
