As per the subject. I work in abandonments of different sorts and take long exposures so I really need something that works. How is the Olympus? I hear it's the best so I'm inclined to go for it.

I've had my E-1 now for a year, and an E-300 since March. Never cleaned either cameras sensor and havenever had to clone out a spot on an image. Took the E-300 to Paris in May and took well over 2,000 dust-free images. Had three lenses with me and was constantly changing them for all 12 days. I don't even think about dust anymore.

Same here. I've had my E-500 for about six month and the E-1 for two months and no dust problems. I think the dust reductuion system is fantastic.

The only time it doesn't work is if you get something sticky like pollen on it...then it can't shake it off.

Both Sony and Canon have released a camera with a different method of dust reduction, but neither method is as effective as the Olympus method.
