I wondered over to the Lecia forum and Rob (aka Riley) had posted a link to some ISO crops from the E3 from ISO100-ISO3200 from Masterchong.com. A nice find Rob!

Here's a link to various E3 sample pics, including 100% crops

From these I'm pretty happy with the ISO performance from the E3, and I'm assuming there from a pre-production camera. ISO100-1250 looks good enough for me, and I'd rather have as much detail and some noise any day, although I don;t know how they managed to blur the ISO100 shot! Over at the Lecia forum, one member quoted that he'd seen an ISO800 printed at A0 and there was no noise in the print, and if thats the case its very good news indeed.

:O :?

I might have said up to ISO1000as a working rangefrom those images, but nevertheless that's remarkable for a non-FF sensor. I can't really use anything above ISO 400 in my E-500 except in emergencies.

The E-3 is looking good...
