Finally managed to get out and take a few pics and as I'm usually crap at doing BIF pics I went for the easier option! These were taken near my sis's new home

E3 + 35-100F2 at ISO 200 - these are out of cam Jpegs (SHQ) excpet the last shot.No PP at all.

* Morning Frost

* Woops.. a BIF pic- this was pp in CS3 as I;d completely over exposed it.

:? :O

I've got a few new studio shots to share with you all - after nearly 2.5 months out of the studio but those I'll show in another thread and show how they were lit.

Hi Harj,

Nice sharp images with my favorite being the morning frost. Just something rather peaceful about it. I don't blame you for trying to avoid B.I.F. shots. They are very frustrating. Although, you've got the right lens for it, as far as speed goes.

A well done series, Harj-

That frosty one is really nice. The E-3 does good work.

...............I really like pictures of ducks and mallards are my favorite of all ducks. For these, all the pictures are just terrific. The one I like best is the drake & reeds seen as the second photo.

The church w/BIF presents an interesting composition that I like a lot too.

thanks for posting these Harj

Hi HarjTT: Nice shots. You may be interested in a shot I got a few years ago in Washington, DC. The duck was on the grass beside the Tidal Basin near the Jefferson Monument in Washington, DC. Used a telephoto lens before he flew away.
