Natural light is eventougher since either way you do it,whether shooting wide open or stopping down and shooting off a tripod, the shutter speed that goes with it is determined by the ambient light. Flash is pretty much a must, as well as using an exposure that'll way underexpose the background beyond the subjectto where it'll go black
