Default A few bird shots... finally .. something more than pigeons!

Taken today at Epping forest - E3 + 35-100F2 (ISO 500 and converted from LR2.3) :

2. Incoming... first real attempt at using CAF with the E3

3. Having a scratch

4. Spring clean

I need to clone out the branch at the bottom.. so I'll be doing that soon. Also played around with havign IS off to see if there was any difference in IQ - sharpness and detail at fast shutter speeds. Need to test this out more as I couldnt see any in the shots that I took.

Default good shooting!!

Hi Harj,

The 35-100mm f2 is one really sharp lens. The subject in each of your frames literally seems to pop out of the photo.

Obviously, not for long wildlife shots. But, boy does it do a great job up close.

...as Zig said, I think these are as sharp as any bird shots I've see, really great detail and color.
