Default Very close bird

I cheated

A junco had the misfortune of a flight into the patio door.

Everything looks good as this fellow took wing and got out of the area shortly after this pic!

Lucky little dude since usually that kind of contact causes head/beak damage. Must have had its head down getting 'outta Dodge while the gettin was good and with a full craw'.

The detail in closeups like this one are just awesome and I am always amazed by it.

Hi Greg,

An unfortunate way for the Junco to have his picture taken. But, the detail is just striking. Great shot and fast thinking on your part to capture it.

Happy that the little critter was able to fly off. Bob's right, birds don't usually fair very well after flying into an immovable object.

An excellent shot, and weren't you glad that you were home when it happened and had the time to capture the image!!
