Default 50-200 review at Photozone

(if there is ad, i don't endorse it)

The 50-200 is tested by photozone. As a side note, this is the very first time I've seen a test delayed by a centering defect on a Zuiko lens.

As usual, the Zuiko reviewed very well.

I wondered if he was going to be obtaining a new copy, having noted the issue with the initial copy he had as well.

A while back I emailed him, asking if he was going to do any new 4/3rd's reviews. The initial, excellent reviews he did on the 50mm f2, 11-22, original 50-200 and original 14-54 f2.8-3.5 were never transferred to his new review site. He replied saying he most likely was not going to review any more 4/3rd's lenses in a response I am glad he eventually went back on.

Just finished reading the review a few minutes ago. I'm not surprised that his review was a positive one. The 50-200mm is one of the sharpest lens I own and it's the ED version. I someday, would love to get the SWD version. But there are just too many other issues that take priority right now.

Thanks for the heads up.
