...tonight, no inspections, scans or otherwise (maybe it was the cold & snow). I saw some people walking around with the pro level Canon & Nikon cams with large lenses fixed. I did not get into the pit area so no info on what was or wasn't allowed. I think pretty much, no rules imposed unless one were to gain a pit pass, then the territory would belong to the pro..s, there might be some rules then. From the spectator venue it would be difficult to make any sensible photo where the pit area would be awesome for its possibilities. The only photo I made (one) was with my iPhone to to upload my FB pages

It was a good show, i got to meet (for the first time) the son of an old friend from SoCal i haven't seen in nearly 40 years, that was neat. Strange that I've been out of the industry for that long yet still know people who are involved like FMF SoCal.
