Default .....been lurking

I've been super busy the past few weeks with HS baseball and have only barely kept up with the posts here but enough to see some new and interesting discussions.

The past weekend found us in Lubbock, TX for two days of district games and though I made many photos during the games I found these energy windmills interesting to share.

The windmill groves are growing every day and now number in the thousands for 50 miles along west I-20 then NW to Lubbock (HWY 84).

I shot these through the side door (tinted) windows of the suburban @ 75 MPH with the E-3 & 14-54 ZD v-1.

Oh, I was not doing the driving !!

It is amazing how many of those you see. They start on I20 between Amarillo and Sweetwater and extend north on 84. I know I've seen hundreds and hundreds and you know there are probably hundreds more you can't see from the highway.

Lord knows there's enough wind out there to keep them busy...

Great composition on that first image.
