Default Sacred Ground

Well when I looked at my RAW files the overexposures were around 3700K and the underexposures tipped the scale at 3200K. That information and the results were to warm for my taste. When RAWS were converted to TIFFS, I used a 3050K rating. Those TIFFS were processed in DPHDR and photo 1 is the result. The big negative however was the blue bleeding caused by the stained glass window. Hot Pixel Eliminator by Mediachance (free) is designed to kill hot pixels, but also eliminates the blue cast. That is the primary reason I use the product. The only problem was it went overboard. Turned the blues in the window to almost an aqua color and warmed the photo up to the original Kelvin rating . Photo 2. Using Layers and masking I corrected the problem and photo 3 is the result. Still some tweaking to be done. Those stripes and the right side pillars have to go. Any comments are welcomed....

Nicely done...esp when you can see the "work flow" and the 3rd pic is a really good improvement from what the original.

Good work. The end result is certainly the best of the three images.

#3 is definitely and improvement and really looks quite nice. striking architectural image.

besides the stripes, i would go ahead and also clean up the ceiling on the bottom a little bit, the cracks seem out of place. there is still alot of purple/blue around the window and the pillars as well, you may think about bringing down the channels just a bit.
