Default Backyard birds

It was a beautiful day after 10 days of unrelenting 100degree weather. I actually got spend time on the back deck enjoying the birds (and one squirrel!) that populate the area. All taken my new E620 and the 70/300 lens.

Very pretty Dove and Goldfinch but wow is that one ugly Squirrel. The little brown ones usually are much cuter than that. Looks like you're having fun with the new gear.

Congrats on getting the E-620!

The Sparrow, Dove and Goldfinch images are particularly sharp, well exposed and show good detail.

In the short time that you've had the E-620, what's your assessment or observations of the camera as compared to your older camera.

So you want to be a better photographer? Open your eyes and take a look at what is all around you.

You're really going to like working with that combination. Nice shooting!

Nice photos, Angie.

Personally I would do PP: reduce the brightness and increase the contrast on all but the last one.

What do you think?
