Default reverse lens

I've a reverse ring for 4/3 - some pictures from today with Oly510 and reverse Canon-Kit-Zoom, a little bit unsharp, because it was rainy and cloudy and I was too lazy to use a tripod ---> freehand.

A couple of notes. With a Canon kit lens do you get any aperture control? I thought all digital lenses nowadays have no manual aperture control. If so I'd ditch it and use some old glass instead. Other note, the images are noisy, like you said the light was bad but anything close-up needs to be shot at a low ISO. I use bounce flash for anything up to about 1X or so.

Have fun with the reversed lens idea, it's a great way to get macro shots. I've used an old Canon 50/1.8 with great success, super compact on an Exxx body.
