Default [pics] Sulphur-crested Cockatoos

One of my favourite local spots to visit when I want to make sure I see some birds is the Maroondah Reservoir in Healsville. The weather was pretty average on this particular day, raining on & off. There were however a decent variety of birds around & not many people.

A Sulphur-crested Cockatoo takes shelter in a tree. Note the little bug on itís shoulder!

A curious Cocky perched upon a post. These birds are very intelligent & social creatures. This one was part of flock of 20 or more cockatoos.
