Default Snow .. finally hits town.. Pics .. quiet a few !!

We finally had soem real snow after London got off fairly lightly 2 weeks ago. These are all from today .. I went out as soon as I realised we had approx 30cm of snow over night. Headed over to the Olympic site .. most ppl thought i was mad .. carying a camera in a mini blizzard, esp with out gloves!

1. Traffic chaos:

2. Wheel spins...

3. Banana's

4. Kite flying

5. I thought they were crazy .. and I think they thought the same about me !

6. River Lea - I;ve never seen it look so pretty

7. Inside a new section of construction work on the Olympic site. Normally I;d never have got anywhwre close to it:

8. One of the stadiums

9. Inside another part of the construction site...

Took just over 200 snaps .. a bit unusal for me esp just for street shooting, but it was fab to be out in teh snow.

Hi Harj,

Brrrr.........I'm cold just looking at the scenes you've posted. I think it's time I get another cup of hot coffee.

So you want to be a better photographer? Open your eyes and take a look at what is all around you.

I feel your pain, Harj. We didn't get a LOT of snow but, boy, that ice sure screwed things up around here for a couple of days!

Nicely documented!

Harj, great documentary shots, really displays the ins & outs of the snow as a series.

I enjoyed those, Harj - thanks for posting them.

The news here has a lot about the airplane flight shut-downs in Europe. Of course, that's largely because most folks here just want to know about their travel, not what is happening with people in Europe. But some of us care...
