What do you have for lenses?

ive got 3 lenses.

35 macro

i do a ton of backpack-style traveling and i like the idea of smaller gear. if i switch to the micro system i doubt i'd bother with the converter - i'd just get the new lenses i want. i'm just out of school and starting work so will have more cash for glass in the near future.

Well. You already got at least two good lenses .... So, I think it will be better to simply upgrade (I.e. E510/520/620) than moving to Micro 4/3.

Sad to say, but it's definitely not worth getting the camera fixed (unless you have an extended warranty and they will fix it for free). You can get some great equipment bargains right now...I got a used E-3 for $475, and a used 70-300mm for $200.
