Default [pics] Rainbow Lorikeets

A return visit to my neighbour’s garden proved to be a very fruitful session as it was alive with a number of different bird species. No doubt the feistiest (& noisiest!) of the all the birds was this pair of Rainbow Lorikeets that ruled the bird feeder! Even the much larger Sulphur-crested Cockatoos would sit back & wait until the Rainbow Lorikeets had had their fill.

They look like the type of critter no other critters would fool with! Just let 'em eat their fill.

Beautiful colors, and captured very well.
