Default Couple for Zig.

Driving into Puerto San Carlos we were struck by the amount of Osprey nests there were. The "powers that be" had put nesting platforms on almost every power pole and metal piling. We counted way over 60 nesting pair, all on, or taking their turn at feeding. It's that time of the year there.
Amazing the junk they weave their nests with.

I know you have quite an interest and might like to know that at least in this area they're doing well.

Hi Ken,

I luv 'em ....very good captures with good clarity and detail. Nicely done.

And yes, they use everything and anything at their disposal with which to build a nest. I've found that there are so many Ospreys competing for available nest space that they have built nests out of all sorts of stuff and located anywhere near water.
I love the coat hanger and what looks like a hula hoop.
