Hi all and thanks for all the kind words and support.

Well if life gives you a bunch of lemons you make lemonade.

My wife contacted the orthopedic surgeon she was supposed to contact today and was told that she could not be seen until next week, the earliest. Then, there was no commitment as to when he could schedule her for a cast to be put on. Well, that just is not acceptable as our plan was to leave Wednesday-tomorrow. We would have delayed our trip a week - but there was no commitment from this guy that he could even see her then.

So, we called our friends in Vero Beach, who we were going to visit this week -our first stop on the trip, told them of our problem and she called her friend an Orthopedic surgeon, and Martha's has an app't to meet with him on Friday in Vero to have the cast put on.

We leave Wednesday 4am -First stop Rocky Mount, No Carolina. We got a hotel room for the nite. If all goes well, we'll be there by 6pm Wednesday.

When next we chat I'll be in Vero.

So you want to be a better photographer? Open your eyes and take a look at what is all around you.

Best wishes and hope your wife's arm heals quickly. We will be thinking of you, and hope that you and your wife's total trip to Florida turns out to be a success this year.

If there is anything that I can do for you while you are down here, please let me know.

(I'm beginning to feel anxious whenever any of the Oly group announces they are going on a trip; there have been to many pre-trip incidents lately.)
