Default A small world

Martha and I have been spending the last month in Marco Island, FL away from the snow, ice, and cold of the Northeast. Last evening we visited friends in Marco West to enjoy the setting sun and a couple of tall and frosty beverages.

We suddenly saw something very familiar but out of place here. It was the Whale Watcher, a vessel that is berthed, across from my boat at Barnstable Harbor. It was as if we had bumped into an old friend.

Fun shot, in low light as well. I like it.

Did some whale watching today we had a female Grey and calf hanging out right where we were sailboatrace racing. Nice to see them coming back north.
