Default Good settings for typical shots on E-620

Hi all,

Can we use this thread for E620 and its settings for some optimal shots?

May sound silly, but any beginners like me or some one else joining this forum can make use of all of your expert knowledge and get used to it.

Hi PS,

A good place to get some tips on the best settings as well as the how tos for different types of photography using Olympus equipment is the learning center on the Olympus site. Here is the link to the U.S. site:

You may also want to check the site in Australia to see what they have.

So you want to be a better photographer? Open your eyes and take a look at what is all around you.

Hey PS

Thats a pretty good link from Zig. I think the E620 and the E30 are fairly similar so you might find the settings for the E30 may be exactly what you need. Have a look at

I think Texas Greg, had an E620 for a while so he might be able to give you some pointers.

Excellent links from both these guys, PS. I might suggest a couple of books to get you jumpstarted. "The Digital Photography Book" by Scott Kelby and "Understanding Photography Field Guide" by Bryan Peterson. Kelby will have you shooting like a pro within 48 hours... really!
