Default Right on track

The director of "Discover La Grange" in La Grange, KY (http://discoverlagrange.org)(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Grange,_Kentucky) called me and asked me if I'd be interested in doing a shoot of an old steam locomotive coming into town. It was to arrive on a huge truck at 11am. I agreed and showed up at 10:30am to scope the place out. By 2pm, it still hadn't shown up due to several SNAFUs and breakdowns. By 3pm it was looking doubtful if it would make it at all today. Being the resourceful person I am I did a little shooting and called it a day. You can see all of what was worth keeping at http://goo.gl/OK897

I used both cameras for these and had CPL on both.

Live tracks run RIGHT THROUGH the center of town. I was told 30-36 trains A DAY go through here.

On track

On the rail

Time for a switch

Good job Gary. Even without the steam locomotive, at least you captured some good images. Intersting looking town, but I'm not sure I would want to try to get in or out of some of those parked cars when a train was coming thu the middle of the street!!!
