Default E1 for wedding photography?

Anyone using the E1 for wedding photography?
If so, what has been your experience?
Are 5 MP enough to capture fine detail?
Any & all comments will be helpful.

Our studio is going all digital.
Thinking about several cameras.
I have to make a decision soon.
Here in Michigan the wedding season will be starting soon.

Thanks very much

The E1 is a capable camera but you'd be better served by a camera like the new Canon 1D MkII. Besides the higher res (8Mpixel), it is extremely fast focusing and is the fastest shooting camera of all the pro dSLRs at 8.5fps  It's more than twice the price of an E1 but it's a lot more camera with a lot more focusing areas (E1 only has 3 AF areas). There's a good reason that so many pros use Canon dSLRs, one of them is the lens choice, you name it and Canon has one in that focal range.

We are currently working on our Mark II review, look for it in a couple of weeks. The camera should be available fairly soon although demand may well outstrip supply for a while. The pro photojournalists and sports shooters will be snatching them up as fast as they arrive.
