Default Statuette


It was a rainy day today so did an indoor test.
Here is the result:

E-3 40-150 3,5-4,5 @ 100mm F8 iso800 standard flash

E-3 40-150 3,5-4,5 @ 96mm F8 iso800 FL-50flash

Interesting experiment. The increased power of the FL-50 obviously shows in #2. so in situations where it is needed, it obviously will provide the most light.

However, in this case, the added power actually makes for a poorer overall photograph, as it lights up the background and adds a distracting hard shadow. The more uniform dark background of the first shot works better than the 2nd shot with the lighter background and hard shadow, in my opinion. Thanks for postings these, it makes for an interesting comparison.
