Default ....remember this YCNH?

....this past summer, in spite of the horrific heat & drought, I had great fun photographing our city parks including the lake area. We have nearly 100 city parks and I did just 14 plus the lake, some I made several trips to. It was very rewarding real time and I made hundreds of special photos from butterflies to a bobcat remembering the summer of 2011.

Yesterday I received an email and a 'paste up image' from the Arlington (TX) Parks and Recreation Dept that one of my photos from this past summer will be used in the spring issue of the 'Arlington Funtimes'. The photo of the Yellow Crowned Night Heron will be the cover page for the parks guide segment of the publication.

'Funtimes' right here.... "I can't wait to see the hi-rez page", why do we say that, we always wait.... there is no choice in the matter.

Congrats, Bob! I do, indeed, remember this capture.

I remember that shot and it deserves it's frontal exposure on the magazine. Congratulations Bob for giving the Arlington Funtimes the Bird...

They should be thankful that you let them use it Bob..!

They do have good taste in photos though.
