Yes, they are and looking good.

We haven't seen any up here yet, this year. We're about 350feet up on the island and it makes a difference with plants and birds sometimes by a couple of weeks.

The goldfinches are almost my favorite bird. Last summer the numerous ones that visit our feeders were joined by Indigo buntings--it was such a lovely combination, the brilliant blue with the sunshine yellow. I hope the buntings return this summer, when I'm not working and have lots of time to try and photograph them at my leisure!

Nice pictures, that is a very colorful bird.
One photo out of focus is a mistake, ten photo out of focus are an experimentation, one hundred photo out of focus are a style.
