Default National Bison Range

Took a drive yesterday afternoon to the National Bison Range here in Montana....this place is always different and you never know exactly what you will see...300 plus pics later, still a bunch to process....but these stuck out as worthy of first process....

Had the E-30 and 50 - 200 and EC's on the camera - EXIF should be intact. Click on them for full sized image!

Tried to get my buddy to walk out there and brush this guys face off....but he refused???

Comments and critique always welcomed and encouraged...

Enjoy, I am...

Jim, I really like all of them except the pheasant - it looks like it's DR overwhelmed the sensor. It would be a good candidate for a mild HDR processing. The exposure on the thistle makes it a standout shot, and the antelope's exposure is spot on in a tough back-lit situation.

Nice shots. The bluebird has much more blue than the eastern variety.

You posted a cool series of shots there, Jim. Well done. Hard to choose one, but I lean toward the thistle, buffalo, and bluebird. With over 300 shots we will be looking for some more from there.

Very colorful pictures, great !!
One photo out of focus is a mistake, ten photo out of focus are an experimentation, one hundred photo out of focus are a style.

......all well done Jim, but for me the thistle is my pick of these.

Like your buddy, I would not brush the buffalo's face either but I was once grabbed hold of a cow moose's ear & petted her, while in the middle of the Chukuni river, 'no bull' (pun intended, lol)
