Default Firmware on 14-54mm lens

Can anyone tell me if version 1.1 is the latest version for the Oly 14-54mm lens? It is not the MkII lens or the newest model. The only lens firmware update I can find is for the 70-300mm lens. Thank you.

I'm not a good reference since I own the v II version, but here it is also version 1.1.

Thanks. The only lens I see on the Oly site is the 70-300mm that has a firmware update unless I'm looking in the wrong place.

Hi James

There used to be an Oly bit of software - I think it may be included in Viwere that would check and tell you firmware versions of lenses and the camera when attached, and also allow you to update them to the relevant version. You need to have a 100% charged battery when doing any update.

You just need to download the Olympus Digital Camera Updater Software to your computer from the Olympus website.

Then you can open the software on your computer whenever you connect the camera to the computer with the lens attached. The software program will tell you if you have the latest software for both body and lens; and if not it will update everything for you.
