Wow! Sorry to hear that. I hope he makes a speedy recovery. Will say a prayer for him tonight.

I don't visit as often as I once did, and this one is a shock.

Get well soon, and do the rehab like they instruct. You need both hands with that 50-200. I always admired your telephoto composition.

Hi, Harj! Here is the latest as of May 26th...

Steve came home from the second trip to the hospital. He has been there almost two weeks. Sharon said the doctors had finally adjusted him with medicine that is keeping his heart rate down. He will have a heart monitor on that is transmitted to a heart monitor center. The visiting nurses will start coming in tomorrow. Hopefully he's on the road to recovery. Please continue the prayers for Steve and Sharon.

Hi guys:I am finally back home after a long hospital stay. I was hit with a stroke on March 06,2017and immediately rushed to the hospital. My stroke was caused by a previously un-diagnosed heart condition that I have called “A Fib”atrial fibrillation: Also, my resting heartbeat was much too high. The doctors tried many different medicine combinations and found a way for now keep my heartbeat under control. I am still in physicall therapy for my stroke twice a week, and my main goal for now is to be able to walk again. I have re-gaineed my speeech and can talk okay, but am unable to walk without assistance. Want to thank the forum members for the get-well cards that I received. They were much appreciated.

That's good to hear, Steve. I too have AF, which was picked up during my annual check-up last year. I was already receiving medication for a pre-existing heart condition, but that was tweaked and added to.

So keep up the good work in your recovery and start posting those wonderful shots of yours again.
