Do you think they are going to introduce an image stabilized version? Or is it just short supply?
Places that have it, have it. Here in Japan it's in constant supply. And No, they won't introduce an IS version (my opinion).

The new Leica D Vario-Elmarit 14-50mm/F2.8-3.5 lens announced at PMA will have IS, and the new "E-3" body (supposedly to be announced later in summer) might have in-body IS, but no one knows for sure.

that's a pretty lens...gimme..gimme gimme!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think i need to start insuring my equipment...

the 14-54 is listed on Ebay from time to time, it is not always there, but they go for fair market value with "buy it now"....it is on my list of gimme's, along with the 7-14 and 11-22...but as stated always use caution and ask questions..Cameta Camera is a good dealer..Tri-State comes to mind also
