I am considering the Evolt 500 for sports photography - has any one have input? Thanks! I would really like a Canon 30D, but due to price I am looking at the other.

Daytime sports or evening/indoors? What lenses do you plan to use with it? Can you shoot sports with the evot 500? Absolutely, but you need the right glass. For outdoor daytime shots the standard kit zoom (40-150)will work if that's long enough, but venture indoors or at night you'll need faster (more $$) glass, at which point any DSLR isn't as economic. The minimum you'llwant is the 50-200 f2.8-3.5.
