Indoors, in normal house lighting, my E-PL1 rarely focuses very well. I have to turn on all the lights available to raise lighting to the highest possible levels. Used at parties and other family events in less then really well lit venues, the type subjects where these cameras are SUPPOSED to replace compacts as better qualoity options and DSLR's as easier to carry around, Pens are virtually useless. Dedicated flash units have AF assist lights, but the current units are designed for the DSLR system and do not work with the Pens. Panasonic G bodies have AF assist lights built-in. Why the idiot designers at Olympus have not seen fit to do so too is a mystery to me... And others...

Instead of buying any more pieces for my Pen outfit, I purchased an E5.
