Default Out on the Lake

Friend took delivery of a toy on the weekend and asked me to help bring it home. No pics of his boat -- the mast is not up so we had to motor.

We departed from Youngstown NY crossing Lake Ontario heading over to Bronte. I love Youngstown and the Niagara River early in the morning. So quiet and peaceful. Then off Bronte we were treated to some leeward mark action as the boats were reaching in under spinnakers.

E-PL1 with the kit lens. Had the M.40-150 with me which would have made for better shots of the regatta but with 4-5 foot swells the boat was bouncing about enough to convince me not to change lenses

The 14-42 is a nice lens, I like the shot of the bay but the open water shot is a bit of a stretch for the little lens isn't it. I think you made a good call in not changing the lens.
