A visit from Greg

Well, after talking and sharing ideas on photography with Greg for the last 7 years on this site, we finally got a chance to meet. We spent the last day and a half driving around Cape Cod and I got a chance to show Greg some of my favorite haunts.

I had a great time, hope you did as well Greg.

I really like the shot of the docked sailboat with the marsh in the foreground and the dark sky beyond. Very color rich and contrasty. Nice.

Now that the kitchen's done, I'm hoping you & Bonnie might be able to put aside a few pennies a week and come up to the Cape next summer. I think I've got Greg convinced to come back.

Yes, I did and he actually had a chance to use it yesterday morning.

I had the good fortune to catch up with Greg this evening . We went out with a couple of friends of mine. Greg had a chance to sample some good old Clam "Chowda" before he left tomorrow morning on his journey back home.

It was only fitting that we were able to enjoy the sunsetting on Barnstable Harbor. This was the last shot taken as the the light faded into darkness.

And I had to leave my bag in the room the last evening, and did you see that sky about 15 minutes after we left? Oh my....

Not looking forward to getting back to the heat box that is DFW right now.

I can imagine..I am an old motorcycle racer..it's the special tools that -keep'ya puttin' on race day-!'

Kinda like fishin with a cane pole and a bobber, if it gets it done keep using it.
