Default Dogwood time at Lee Park

They survived two light freezes, are home free now and started opening up today. Captured these with the E-M5 and 75-300 M. Zuiko with the 16mm Kenko tube for closer focusing. I also kept the noise filtering relatively light. These were captured at either ISO 1250 or 1600 since the sun was already done in this area for the day..

Hi Greg,

I continue to marvel at how you "see" your subjects and then frame them.
Really great work. And, the tones of the images-just marvelous.

The other point that needs to be made is just how much the quality of the 'low light' images have improved since the days of the E-520 & E-P1.

ISO1600? I would never had ventured into that territory with an Oly camera.

Zig

Very nice. The M5 is definitely good with high ISO files.

Now, for the azaleas, with the 14-150..

Backed off a little further with the 9-18 M. Zuiko, I really like how the late afternoon sun hits the new bright green leaves

Great pictures Greg, I like the 3D effect of it.
