.....great shots, the heron is my favorite of these because the heron and egret are the only ones of these I've seen.

I see Greg is thinking snakes now, since he did the moccasins last weekend, for me I will have to stick with the herons, egrets and butterflies I reckon.

Nice series, the first picture is my favorite.

What a beautiful heron..!!!

Do you think the sharpness of the pictures from the 75-300mm can improve using tripod? do you have some pictures that you can share?
