Default Peaceful, Quiet Morning at the Arboretum

Mainly just walked, but I stopped a couple of times when something caught my eye enough to want a picture with the E-M5 and 14-150 M. Zuiko.

Crooked pot..

Good day to be sailing too, if one had a boat. I'll have to settle for the new car I picked up Friday evening ,

Yeah, I like the boat scene. Quiet over here too, I did shoot a couple cars last night but mostly talked with folks.

Whatcha driven now, is it electric?

2013 Chevrolet Sonic LTZ. First car I've ever owned with heated seats

It's only a moon/sun roof short of being as feature-loaded as this model gets. Should be a great 690 mile drive to Alamogordo, NM in a couple of weeks, assuming I survive the next two weeks at the office. Just before, and just after vacations are no fun.

Bob, with the crack-smoking people in charge at Adobe starting to make everyone buy monthly subscriptions in order to keep current on Photoshop, I think it's about time I started trying your application.

Nice pictures Greg, I like the color saturation on the fists one.

Congratulations for your new Sonic, I saw one last week in a show room, beautiful little car, did you get the turbo model?

Considered it, but went with the basic 1.8L automatic. I asked the salesman, figuring he'd be all for the turbo at another $900, but other than an extra 5 MPG or so, there just wasn't that much of an incentive to spend the extra money, so I didn't and he didn't fault me.

Drives really nice and gets up to speed plenty fast on the highway.

More than 5 years ago I vowed to avoid all Adobe products of any kind, and I have no regrets.

I downloaded the Corel system last night and played with it a little while. Quite a bit different. Not nearly as seemless as Photoshop and ACR, but the tools definitely all seem to be there.

Damn, this irks me to no end that I even have to think about it.

10 or so years ago a programmer friend told me to watch for the major apps to be removed from the desktop and go back to the mainframes, or to what we now call the cloud. I have lived and breathed InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat and Illustrator but off the cloud subscription -- not for me.

Oh, the shot of the sailboats through the trees -- wonderful
