Default Cape Ann

Took some shots at the beach near Gloucester (all 12-50, except for the last with the Panasonic 25). I just bought a car (Subaru), so I don't think I'll be adding lenses anytime soon. The first shot is me attempting to surf. I wish it came out better, but I just threw it in auto mode for the person taking the shot. We were about waist deep in the ocean with the waves coming in at chest height. Camera got splashed a few times, but other than that it is safe and sound.

The last shot is with the 25 at a hops picking party.

great series of images. The perspective on the first image is one I'm not used to seeing-cool.

My son has decided at the age of 44 that he, his wife and 2 daughters should learn how to surf. so, the entire family is now fully equipped with boards, suits, etc. They live in Portsmouth, NH and regularly surf at Rye.

How things change. I remember having to drag him to little league.

So you want to be a better photographer? Open your eyes and take a look at what is all around you.

Beautiful pictures, 1st and 4th are my favorites. I think RI, MS and ME have the most beautiful seascapes in the East coast.

Thank you for sharing.
