Default Oops ... I did it again

I asked my usual camera store to let me know when they will get the new 25mm f1.8 ... and I got a call just before lunch.

Not waiting, I walked over there and I was (big mistake) able to try it (black version) in the shopping centre (which didn't made their "security manager" happy.

Anyway, you probably know the results ... I bought it. This is one of the shot in the shopping centeer (remember, I was not "permitted" to take photos of people ... like if nobody is doing it ).

That's a nice looking little lens. I would imagine very sharp too. Congratulations. I see B&H already has the black one in stock with the silver not yet available.

Ooo. Let us know what you think. I imagine this is going to be a very popular lens.

I will try to post some shots at the end of this long week-end. Be warned ... It might contain some snow

Looks like Oly is going full bore into the M43 system and not a bad price for a 1.8 lens.

Enjoy your new lens, sounds like a good one.
(And looks like you succumbed to GAS. -Gear Acquisition Syndrome.)

Hi all,

Somfar I like the 25mm. It is like using the 45mm but with a wider angle (which is what it is). I did some shots this week-end but it was mainly with a snow background and my white balance was way off

Anyway, I shall post some shots in the next few days.
