Default Using a Panny 7-14 with an Olympus Camera?

An suffering from the occasional purple blobs that will pop up in images?

Here's one possible fix in Photoshop, which probably would work in other programs with similar color adjustments.

Here's my image, from the inside at Old Faithful Lodge at Yellowstone, captured at 10mm with the 7-14mm f4 Panasonic.

On opening the conversion in Photoshop from Adobe Camera raw, I then opened...

IMAGE, then go to:
ADJUSTMENTS, then go to:

In the image below, when this dialog box first opens, where you see Magentas here, this box initially defaults with "Master". First step, change that to Magentas, then change the Hue setting to -80 and the Saturation to 16.

Now, that alone will not correct the issue. When you make those manual changes, you will see the gray slider (between the two multi-colored lines) appear at the bottom of that box. Slide it to the left, towards the blues and purples while watching the purple blobs on the screen go gray and stop when you like the results.

This image is the result of that correction..

Thanks Greg. As a proud owner of a 7-14 (in seriousness I do like it a lot) I feel your pain. Thank for the tip.
