....I've yet to decide getting the E-M1-mII. On a good day, such as my birthday 2-days ago, I'm ready for the camera, grip, corded shutter release and an extra battery.
OK! I've decided ..... BUT HAVE NOT DECIDED WHEN. It pretty much depends on my birthday 'gift' check from Bonnie of which she has not yet determined; it has now been 2-weeks (sigh).

I'm tellin' ya, when you do finally decide, if it's soon, I hope there's a body somewhere to buy. They are hard to come by these days. Even the extra battery is a tough find, I guess a product of them having to go with a new one with this latest body.

I've been spending so much money lately on clothes instead of cameras, I'm now down 80 pounds since last July and am wearing sizes last seen in my closet in the early 1980's, LOL...

BTW, nice new Avatar.

Well......I JUST couldn't help myself......

Purchased the E-M1 Mark II from B&H this morning. It'll be in my grubby hands tomorrow. Now, just need to find a second battery.

What's the saying? Something about how every famous incredible photograph in history was shot with an old out of date no-good camera.

Wait, is it a different battery than the original EM1?

Oh yeah. HUGE new battery. I have a feeling this new body with the quad-core processors, handing both in-camera and in-lens stabilization systems as well as super-speed everything would have sucked the original E-M1 battery dry pretty quick.

The new cell is twice the size or the original, and it's hard right now running down an extra one. I'm on the list at B&H for one as soon as they have them in stock again. Hopefully I'm not too far down that waiting list.

Fortunately, it also seems like a very long-lasting battery.
