Default Exactly How Big Is That 12-100mm f4?

...the 25mm f/1.2 is quite a bit larger than the 12-40 too

Yep, nothing small about it at all. I've not ever held one of Leica's $11,000, 50mm f0.95 Noctilux lenses, but I wouldn't be surprised if the two were pretty close in size.

At White Sands National Monument this week. This morning was in the gate at 6:30am and the 12-100 was quite excellent in use. I did go to the 7-14 for the real obvious subjects where the wider view was needed and the 25 was useable with the electronic shutter at f1.2 in bright daylight at 1/32,000 shutter speed, LOL... and it can really separate the subject from the background.

Can't wait to get home this Friday and see how many files I have to go through for 5 days after firing off 238 this morning during a 3 1/2 hour, 4 mile hike.
