Hi guys,
I'm a newb on this site so take it easy if I'm not doing everything right here. I was just wondering if anyone could help me out a little bit. I recently cracked my LCD screen ( I know, not good!). Instead of going through high priced repair services, I just bough a new lcd screen of eBay. I'm not too sure yet if the product I bought comes with a complete LCD and Backlight piece, or just the screen itself. I was wondering if anyone has every replace an LCD screen before for this camera or a similar camera that could give me some instructions of how to go about doing this. I realize this is a big risk, but if it doesn't work, I'm probably just gonna buy a new camera anyway. Thanks in advance.

If you bought the Stylus 300 new I'd simply use the cracked LCD as an excuse to buy a newer model Stylus. You can now get a Stylus with a lot more performance for less money than the 300 originally cost and probably for less than what competent repair would cost.
