Default Optimal shutter speeds for ultra zooms?

Just wondering if anyone has some general rules of thumb for selecting minimum shutter speeds when hand holding the c-750, or other ultra zoom cameras.

It seemed that with traditional SLRs the rule of thumb was to keep the shutter speed's denominator higher than the length of the zoom. ie. at least 1/150 of a second for a 150mm lens. Are there any minimum speeds to coincide with the wideangle, normal and tele of the c-750?

i think the same rule applies, only you'd have to estimate & convert the zoom to 35mm terms, and then go from there. so at full zoom (380mm in 35mm terms) you'd like to have a 1/380 shutter speed ideally.
