...... and off-camera flash (FL36R). In fact, the flash was still mounted on the E-410. I used different angle, diffused, and undiffused for the Peace rose. Oh yeah, my diffuser? Glad you asked! A Fong? Nope. A Stofen? Nope. It's the bottom of a vitamin bottle. You can see the same flowers shot with the E-410 in the Olympus DSLR forum here: Improved Blaze... Peace...
I think the SP590 certainly holds it's own. ![]() ![]() ![]()

You are REALLY making the decision for me much different then when I first started here....that little camera may just BE the one I need...

You could certainly do a LOT worst than the SP590. I've owned it's predecessors, the SP550 and SP570, and whilst they were very nice cameras, they just didn't do it for me like the SP590 does. Try one out at your local camera store. That's what sold me. I just like the feel of it. They've completely revamped the menu system to something similar to Canon. I did like the zoom ring on my SP570 but, other than that... great li'l camera.
