:?: :?: I just found out abut this web site last night and the question I have to ask is somewhat related to this topic. I have a two year old Fuji 4700 that was my first digital camera and have been really pleased overall with it. It's now time for an upgrade and my only wish is for the 10 X's optical zoom and stay with 3 but perhaps 4 megapixels.
Now here is my kicker. I have three 128 and one 64 MB Smart Media cards, and to keep with the same storage I have checked out the Fuji S602 but it's only 6X's zoom, or I can get an Olympus C730, which is 10 X's optical and it takes SM and XD. However my choice seems to either get the C730 or go with a different storage system eg. SD and get the Panasonic FZ 10.
I will be keeping my 4700, and it appears that the Smart Media cards are history or soon will be, so is it best to just jump on the latest storage system when buying my next camera.
