Default Olympus D 550 problem/need help

When I take a picture outside my pic comes our very bright as
you can't tell what it is. Its just bright.
When in the record stage I press the menu option . I arrow down to the box with the +/- for exposier settings. This setting is right on
+-O. I was told this is the normal setting..

I go to the picture settings and my LCD level is in the middle.
My pictures inside take ok. Out side pic are the trouble.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Same problem here. I have two D-550s. One of them will take indoor shots perfectly, but anything outdoors in the sunshine is all washed out, and I mean you just about can't see anything, the pics are nearly comletely white. There is some vertical streaking too.
