Default vr310

Hi guys, i got a lovely olympus vr-310, for christmas and being a photography newbie i was hoping someone could help me out with the best settings and all that.

Hi- my understanding of this model is that it is primarily a "point and shoot" affair,with most settings being automatic.
That said- there are of course scene modes for different photographic scenarios and different white balance settings/metering settings etc..
Here's a review of this model,which may give you an insight into its settings...

Yes, Simon is correct and has pointed you to a good review of the camera. It is highly automated point and shoot camera, and it even has an "Intelligent Auto Mode" that can even select the proper scene mode automatically.
